I finished something! Actually a bit ago, and finished a sweater as well, but I didn’t want to scare people into thinking the Endtimes are nigh what with all that finishing which I never do and I am a lazy, lazy blogger.
I’m not entirely happy with it, but Nick likes it and it was a good learning exercise.
Lots of pictures in the flickr set, if’n you want to see ‘em just click the piccie.
And a big thank you to everyone who clicked through and voted for my cousin’s band! They won and got to open for Fergie at the Tempe Music Festival, so that was an awesome experience for them and thank you for helping get them there!
Next time, an actual knitting post.

I personally cuss each time I lose a subscriber, Fuck(er) is my word of choice. Love the skirt and the sweater. But really the fabric you chose for the skirt. So cute.

Shhhhh! I want to see if it still works!
(my original post had a thing about how every time I post I lose another subscriber and I was wondering if it’s ‘cuz I’m boring or offtopic (spinning, knitting, not so much of that happening lately) or what. Then I pulled it out a couple minutes after posting b/c I looked at the post and saw it took up a huge proportion of the text of a short post for what was really just an idle thought…but Michelle was quick on the comment button. So I’m putting it here, to explain so nobody looks at Michelle’s comment and goes, “huh?” Y’know, context. I think it’s important. Although I love non sequiturs.
A shrubbery!)

ooohhh - pretty colours! Love the new blog look, love the skirt (awesome print!) and can’t wait to hear the details on the sweater. I am too wrung-out and tired to wait for my f@rking dial-up to load the flickr pics, maybe tomorrow. p.s. went to town, had my hair done, bought a house!!! woot!

1. LOVE your hair cut (or for you, lack of a hair cut) You look really good Wendy.
2. LOVE the sweater. Looks like a LOT of knitting. I can’t wait to hear about it.
3. LOVE the new blog look. Very nice and clean.
4. LOVE the tree-boob you are holding onto, it’s very bright and vibrant (redundant, I know)
AND,
5. I LOVE seeing Criv and Libelula in their coats. You look like you are really enjoying it up there.
6. Miss you
MK
(PS - are you still like your Victoria? Forgot to ask you that, and then I’ll answer your question about why I bought one…. Hee)

Wow - you’re growing your hair out, just like me! Your reasons are probably totally different than mine. I desperately want to have a lesbian love affair with Jackie on Bravo’s Workout (and DH wants to watch), so I’m growing my hair out to look like hers. She’s the reason I started straightening it last year. Stalker - hmmm, maybe.
Anyway, the hair looks great. And so does the skirt. And so does the sweater!!! (And the dogs. And the trees.)
(Sorry for the loopiness of this comment. I’m not myself these days. Wish I could blame it on drugs, but no. Just a huge lifestyle change.)

And loves to the poops. And the Big Bunny.

Cute sweater, and it looks really good on you. The skirt is super cute too. I think this summer I’m going to try to make a few myself.
